SUMMARY:Winter Farm Arts Course for Youth
DESCRIPTION:Winter Farm Arts Course for Youth\nAs the weather cools\, the last of the season’s crops are harvested and the farm beds are put to rest. Over the winter\, the farmers will often look inwards and spend this quieter time reconnecting and renewing their creative spirits. Yet\, there is still some activity on the farm: the animals need to be fed and looked after\, and old gates and other projects need repair that are put aside for a later time. It also is a time for dreaming and planning for next year’s growing season. \nJoin us “over the winter” in our Winter Farm Arts youth program! \nThe Winter Farm Arts course for youth introduces a series of hands-on\, farm-to-table arts skills that inspire and renew the gardeners’ creative spirit during the quieter months on the farm. During this course\, students engage in activities that connect to the work that farmers experience\, guide\, and create in the garden.
