HERE’S THE HEART OF IT

As Biodynamic farmers we know that transformation requires cultivation. You know too, as our supporters who truly value what we do here, that an intentional relationship with the spiritual aspect of land care is as important as our relationship to the microbes in the soil and the pollinators that help the Farm’s flowers bear fruit. Actively loving the world back into balance isn’t extra for us, it is the essential task of our work on the Farm through the cycle of the year.

Cultivation that leads to transformation requires time and resources, and generating vitality for the world, one acre at a time, requires the long-term investment you so beautifully give us as supporters of the Farm. 30% of our annual budget comes in the form of gifts from large and small donors like you, who recognize transformative love when you taste the milk from our cows, or bite into a tomato grown through a relationship that reaches beyond soil and physical matter, carrying the spirit of the land in all we do.

LET’S BREAK IT DOWN

We have two goals, one campaign.

We started doing pledge drives last spring because recurring donations truly are the most impactful way to help us stabilize our income through the erratic ups and downs of the farming year, and pledging is an accessible way for new and young philanthropists to show support. Our goal is 30 new monthly supporters in one week. Attainable and so fun to celebrate when we get there!

But in order to meet our annual goal, we also need to raise $30,000 this spring. We know we have some big fans out there who like to keep it simple with one-time donations so we set this goal just for you!

HOW TO BE A PART OF IT?

Take a moment to ask yourself: “Am I doing my part to keep this place alive?” There’s a path to yes for everyone. Yours can look like:

  • Use your voice! Telling your friends what you love about the farm is the best way for us to build new relationships.

  • You make a new monthly pledge of ANY amount or increase your existing pledge.

  • You make a one-time donation of any amount to help us reach our overall goal of $30,000.

  • You commit to a multi-year sustaining pledge amount to ensure the future of the farm.
