Enter our Farm to Picnic* raffle to win a ticket to a Window Restoration Workshop with Natasha Klemek! Historic wood windows are elegantly designed and often misunderstood elements of older homes, yet their care is surprisingly simple. Learn the parts of traditional wooden-framed sash windows and how they work, and get hands-on training in common repairs. Participants will practice lead-safe paint removal, wood repair, reglazing, and repainting on actual historic windows. This is a one day (4 hour) workshop taught by preservation carpenter and farmer Natasha Klemek (GMWS class of ’07; MSc. Architectural Conservation). Materials (including PPE) will be provided, prior carpentry experience not necessary. Up to 6 winners will be announced!
Each ticket is 1 submission into the raffle, if you’d like to enter the raffle multiple times, you can buy multiple tickets, and they all will be entered to win on the night of the dinner, 9/25! Learn more or RSVP for the Farm to Picnic Dinner here.
